ECTMIH 2025: upcoming submission deadline for ITM alumni travel grants (08/06)!
The 14th European Congress on Tropical Medicine and International Health (ECTMIH) will be held in Hamburg, Germany, from 29 September – 2nd of October 2025. ECTMIH brings together over 1500 scientists and experts from across the world.
The overarching theme of the congress is better health for all in a changing world. More information on the thematic tracks and cross-cutting topics is available on the Conference website.
The deadline to submit your travel grant request to attend ECTMIH 2025 is approaching. Has your abstract been selected? Then submit your ITM alumni travel grant request by 8th of June 2025 (23:59 CET)!
ITM Alumni grants
The ITM Alumni Network supports alumni to attend international scientific meetings and will promote alumni participation in ECTMIH 2025. Only those ITM alumni with a selected abstract (for oral or poster presentation) and without funding granted by ECTMIH or other institutions and donors, can apply for an ITM alumni travel grant to attend ECTMIH 2025.
ITM alumni grants include: registration fee, visa, per diem, travel and accommodation costs. A grant can only be awarded to alumni being a resident and national of a country on the most recent version of the OECD/DAC list of ODA recipients.
Please note that there is a limited number of grants available for ITM alumni to participate in ECTMIH 2025. We strongly encourage women (ITM alumnae) to apply.
If you wish to apply for an ITM alumni grant, after the selection of your abstract, make sure to send us your (i) motivation letter, (ii) CV, and (iii) letter of acceptance from ECTMIH as soon as possible and by 8th of June 2025 (23:59 CET) at the latest to [email protected].
